Job summary

Santander Bank, N.A. seeks a Relationship Banker I to serve Banking Center customers, help the team achieve sales, service, and operation goals, and process transactions in line with bank rules.

You will use strong communication and active listening to understand customer needs, offer appropriate products, build trust, and develop partnerships across business segments.

This role may require a flexible schedule with weekend hours and occasional travel to other Banking Centers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 3–4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience.
• Flexible/rotating schedule; travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers.
• Self-starter with knowledge of bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers' needs accurately and promptly, leveraging resources.
• Evaluate client needs and offer suitable financial products through needs-based conversations.
• Perform routine teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments.
• Support segmentation by executing sales, retention and growth initiatives.
• Strive to meet/exceed individual and team sales, service and operations goals.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies; support audits.
