Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and supports the registration team, ensuring training and efficient workflow.
• Obtains and verifies patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Enters data into the registration system and obtains consent/authorization forms.
• Reviews insurance eligibility responses and captures accurate information.
• Audits registration/admission records for accuracy and corrects errors.
• Supports QA efforts and identifies training opportunities.
• Provides on-the-job training to registrars on policies and processes.
• Requests and collects patient payments, counseling on financial obligations and options.
• Notifies ancillary departments and tracks registration status.
