BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ER at St. Joseph's North in Lutz, FL. This full-time position requires strong clinical skills and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide patient assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with the health-care team while following safety and quality standards. Evening/night shifts with every other weekend are required, and the role is in-person only.

Competenze

• Active RN license in Florida
• Nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) or higher
• 1 year ER nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association)

Mansioni

• Care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to health care team members
• Organize and update the care plan in collaboration with patients and family
• Identify patients at risk and prepare the room environment accordingly
• Monitor and document patient vitals and assessments
• respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Communicate clearly to create a positive patient care experience
• Maintain professional accountability and development

• Status: Full Time
• Shift: 10:45 PM - 11:15 AM
• Every other weekend
• On Call: No
• Always in person

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 1-year registered nurse ER experience
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association

Registered Nurse - responsibilities and skills:

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
• Professional accountability and development
