BayCare's Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ER, in a full-time, in-person role. The shift runs 9:45 AM to 10:15 PM with every other weekend requirements. Eligible candidates will have an active RN license, nursing degree, and ER experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or higher in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Organize and prioritize and update plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others.
• Identify patients at risk for injury and prepare room environment.
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition.
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Use high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience.
• Maintain professional accountability and development.

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 1-year registered nurse ER experience
