BayCare’s St. Joseph's North ER in Lutz, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time, night-shift role supports compassionate, high-quality patient care in a busy environment with every-other-weekend shifts.

You will work with a dedicated team, maintain clinical standards, perform assessments, and respond to emergencies. Requires current RN license, ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 1 year ER RN experience
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• Diploma/Associates/Bachelor in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment
• Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Maintains high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience
• Professional accountability and development

• Location: St. Joseph’s Hospital North - 4211 Van Dyke Road, Lutz, FL
• Status: Full Time
• Shift: 10:45 PM – 11:15 AM
• Every other weekend
• On Call: No
• Always in person

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 1-year registered nurse ER experience
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association

The Registered Nurse – responsibilities and skills:

• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
