Job summary

Community Health Resources seeks a Registered Nurse for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time role supports a 24/7 crisis stabilization program, offering nursing care, evaluation, and linkage to services.

Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 to 16:30 with on-site responsibilities and collaborative care among a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have CTRN licensure, a nursing program degree, and CPR/First Aid certification (or obtained within 90 days).

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in CT.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• CPR & First Aid certification required or to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes to maintain a positive milieu and handles conflicts.
• Documents planned interventions and observations accurately.
• Monitors medications and supports recovery and living skills.
• Develops individual and group treatment and psycho-educational activities.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention as needed.
