Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a qualified APRN for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time role supports direct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis stabilization services, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., at the REST Center. The ideal candidate will hold CT APRN and RN licenses, CSP license, and DEA number, with at least five years of experience in adult or child mental health.

Qualifications

• CT APRN license and RN license; CT CSP license; and DEA number.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in adult or child mental health.
• Community mental health and/or addiction treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes medications under direction of agency MD.
• Direct Treatment Services.
• Provides treatment services consistent with payor and clinical standards.
• Provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management.
• Provides addiction services including evaluation and medication management for substance use disorders.
