Job summary

Community Health Resources in Willimantic, CT, seeks a licensed therapist to join the REST Center team. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday evenings, with a focus on crisis stabilization and recovery-oriented care.

You will assess, plan, and deliver person-centered interventions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary group, and help clients progress toward appropriate next steps while maintaining documentation and supervision requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in related field.
• Experience with trauma, mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A required. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required where transportation is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with the program model.
• Conducts clinical and risk assessments.
• Collaborates with individuals to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Maintains client and staff records according to agency policy.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
