Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) seeks a Registered Nurse for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This part-time role covers a 12am–8am weekend shift, guiding crisis stabilization and short-term medical/behavioral interventions in a 24/7 setting.

You will provide nursing support, medication evaluation, and linkage to community services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centered, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing program with RN licensure.
• Experience with substance use and mental health disorders."

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in the 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in client differences or conflicts to maintain a positive milieu.
• Maintains documentation of planned interventions and observations.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention for clients in crisis.
• Transports clients within the program as needed.
