Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Area Manager to join our sales team serving the Downstream division. You will drive revenue growth through district plans, lead teams of sales engineers and technical service reps, and build relationships with key accounts while leveraging consultative selling approaches.

The role includes field training in Naperville, IL, a flexible independent work environment, and a company vehicle for business and personal use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years leading and developing teams.
• 5+ years of successful technical/outside sales experience using a consultative sales approach.
• Ability travel as required to support the district.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit growth by developing and executing a district plan to maximize revenue.
• Interact with senior management to ensure objectives are met.
• Generate sales forecasts and predict revenue monthly.
• Lead district meetings and coach sales engineers and technical service reps to maintain value in heavy industrial segments.
• Support large current and prospective customers to understand business needs.
