Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to lead our wastewater aeration product sales across municipal utilities, engineers, and contractors in a remote-capable role within the United States.

You will manage and develop Manufacturer's Representatives, drive new business from prospecting to purchase orders, and provide technical guidance on SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems while building long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop our Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
