Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to lead Newterra aeration product sales across municipal wastewater in the United States. Remote work is supported; you will manage Manufacturer's Representatives and guide projects from development to execution.

Travel up to 30% annually, apply technical aeration knowledge (SBR, oxidation ditch, lagoon), develop regional plans, forecast pipelines, and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Environmental Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record
• Strong knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes (mechanical aeration, SBR, lagoon systems)

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas.
• Drive new business through prospecting and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from project development through bidding, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Provide technical guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to meet project requirements.
