Cox Enterprises is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to facilitate and manage the transportation of customer vehicles within an assigned region. The role involves coordinating with multiple Manheim locations and ensuring timely, accurate processing of orders and VIN-related activities.

Responsibilities include handling communications, managing emails, monitoring holds, and collaborating with carriers and peers to optimize dispatches.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (automotive industry preferred).
• MS Office suite proficiency (Excel/Outlook/Word).
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results.
• High attention to detail and precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate regionally.
• Handle escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Process vehicle transactions in AS400 and track deadlines.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases when needed.
• Investigate VIN kickbacks by carriers for re-dispatch.
• Create and manage corrective actions for vendors.
• Monitor order-entry failures and correct.
• Enter all manual orders and process other AS400 orders.
• Process fees and post-assessorial charges.
• Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Measure performance and report results to executives.
