Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to facilitate and manage the transportation of customer vehicles within an assigned region. The role involves handling communications, coordinating with carriers, and processing orders across multiple Manheim locations.

This position requires 1–3 years of administrative experience, strong MS Excel/Outlook/Word skills, and the ability to work independently in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
• High attention to detail, data entry accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with urgency in a dynamic environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and background check required

Responsibilities

• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails
• Manage escalated Client Succes VINs with peers and agents
• Monitor holds and verification delays
• Process AS400 orders and manual orders
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases
• Investigate kickback of VINs by carriers to re-dispatch units
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors
• Measure performance and generate client/vendor analytics
• Report on performance results for management and executives
• Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports
• Follow all duties as directed by supervisor
• Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly
