Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialists to facilitate and manage vehicle transport within a defined region. Finalists will work one day a week from one of many Manheim locations listed in the ad.

Responsibilities include email and phone coordination, VIN management, and analyzing performance for regional clients and vendors. Requirements include 1–3 years of admin experience (auto industry preferred), proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Word, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail and precise data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's.
• Follow up with carriers on several VINs daily.
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases.
• Investigate kickback of VINs by carriers to re-dispatch units.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor.
• Monitor order entry failures and correct them throughout the day.
• Enter all manual orders and process other AS400 system orders.
• Process Fees and post assessorial charges to record.
• Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Measure performance and analyze analytics for clients and vendors.
• Report on performance results for senior management.
• Compile vehicle transportation related data and generate reports.
• Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly.
