Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to facilitate the transport of customer vehicles within a defined region. The role will require handling multiple Manheim sites and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years administrative experience, automotive industry preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Process AutoIMS for delays, holds, and ETA changes.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Investigate vendor VIN kickbacks and re-dispatch.
• Create and manage corrective actions for vendors.
• Monitor and correct order entry failures and process orders.
• Record fees and post charges; understand margin requirements.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Measure performance and generate reports for clients and executives.
• Compile vehicle transportation data and reports.
