Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to facilitate and manage the transportation of customer vehicles within an assigned region. You will handle multiple email boxes, communicate via recorded lines, and collaborate with peers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires 1–3 years of administrative experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience, automotive industry preferred
• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word proficiency required
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
• High attention to detail including precise data entry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage transportation processes for customer vehicles in the assigned region
• Handle communications via recorded line phone system
• Manage regional email boxes and collaborate on regional emails
• Monitor holds, verifications, and ETAs with carriers
• Process orders in AS400 and manage manual orders
• Measure performance and report results to management
• Investigate carrier VIN kickbacks and re-dispatch units
• Maintain master data accuracy for locations and margins
• Support corrective actions and vendor improvements
• Follow all duties as directed by supervisor
• Be a proactive problem-solver in a dynamic environment
