Job summary

The Toro Company, a global leader since 1914, seeks a Regional Business Manager to drive annual sales and profitability in Latin America and the Caribbean. You will lead sales plans for commercial golf, irrigation, and parts, manage distributor networks, and collaborate with marketing and leadership to meet divisional objectives.

You will supervise the Latin America sales team, build strong customer relationships, and travel about half the time.

Qualifications

• ~10+ years of combined sales & marketing experience managing business plans and P&Ls with multiple channels of distribution.
• ~ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business and sales account plans.
• ~ Proven ability to develop product knowledge and customer benefits across product lines and competitive categories.
• ~ Highly effective written and verbal communication skills for professional sales presentations and negotiations.
• ~ Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals and annual objectives.
• ~ Strong data-based analytical skills to drive programs and promotions that achieve objectives.
• ~ Proven conflict management skills and ability to influence at all levels of key decision makers.
• ~ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demanding projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales support plans to increase market share in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to sales staff.
• Develop and execute annual business plans that achieve sales & profitability goals and objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities focusing on market segments.
• Coordinate resolution of field issues with Customer Care and provide technical sales support.
• Develop distributors to drive improved performance and manage distributor relationships.
• Conduct product/sales training programs to upgrade distributor teams.
• Travel approximately 50% to designated markets.
