Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Regional Business Manager to lead sales growth across Latin America and the Caribbean. This role oversees golf, irrigation, and parts for regional markets, managing distributors and cross-functional teams to meet annual sales and profit targets.

You will coordinate plans with distributors, provide technical sales support for turf products, and build strategic relationships with stakeholders while traveling up to 50% of the time. Fluent Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced proficiency in Spanish, both in the oral and written form.
• 10+ years of combined sales & marketing experience managing business plans and P&Ls with multiple channels of distribution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business and sales account plans.
• Proven ability to develop a high level of subject matter expertise in product / features and customer benefits across product lines as well as competitive product categories.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills to enable professional sales business presentations and business negotiations on relatively complex business and technical matters to customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Sales Team Management: coach, mentor, and lead sales staff; complete mid-year and end-year reviews.
• Sales Leadership: develop annual business plans; coordinate sales projections for product groups; identify new opportunities; provide field issue resolution with Customer Care; stay current on turf market knowledge; lead cross-functional teams.
• Distributor Development/Support: develop distributor sales programs; conduct training; identify/distribute development opportunities; evaluate distributor performance; liaise between sales, marketing and credit functions.
• Market Development: identify new opportunities by product group; develop business plans to enter opportunities.
• Other job components: report to VP International; build relationships with customers and internal partners; supervise Latin America sales team; travel ~50%.
