Job summary

The Toro Company, a global leader in lawn and turf equipment, seeks a Regional Business Manager to drive sales across Latin America and the Caribbean. You’ll oversee Commercial Golf Grounds, Irrigation products, and parts, growing the distributor network and coordinating with marketing and leadership teams.

Requires ~10+ years in sales/marketing with multi-channel experience and fluent Spanish. You may work remotely in the US or near a major international airport, with travel about 50%.

Qualifications

• ~10+ years of combined sales & marketing experience managing business plans and P&Ls with multiple channels of distribution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business and sales account plans.
• Proven ability to develop subject matter expertise in product lines and competitor categories.
• Strong written and verbal communication to enable professional sales presentations and negotiations.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.
• Strong data-based analytical skills to drive programs and promotions.
• Proven conflict management skills and ability to influence at all levels of stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demanding projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans per business segment.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to sales staff.
• Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales & profitability goals.
• Identify new business opportunities focusing on market growth.
• Coordinate resolution of field issues with Customer Care; provide technical sales support.
• Provide leadership and communicate with regional teams on goals and strategies.
• Drive distribution channel projects to maximize sales via regular market visits.
• Develop distributors to improve performance.
• Conduct product/sales training for distributors.
