Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Tree Care Services Business Developer to manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing in regional territories. You will collaborate with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal teams to respond to bids and meet sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, TCIA or Certified Arborist certification, 3–5 years of face-to-face B2B selling, and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong presentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• TCIA or Certified Arborist certification.
• 3–5 years of extensive face-to-face B2B selling at mid-to-senior levels.
• Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM/SFA tools.
• Proven track record of sales goal attainment in longer selling cycles.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Local knowledge or contacts in target markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate Tree Care Services in regional territories.
• Prospect using consultative sales techniques to build relationships, marketing, and pricing.
• Develop Tree Care programs and estimates with Account Managers and Branch Manager.
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Network to increase penetration for new Tree Care accounts.
• Achieve sales goals and work independently.
• Log activity in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal resources to drive larger opportunities.
• Build trust-based relationships with key decision makers.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Communicate proactively with decision makers and influencers.
• Plan daily activities and hit benchmarks to close business.
