Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Tree Care Services Business Developer to manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing. You will collaborate with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal teams to meet sales targets and develop programs and estimates for existing clients.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of mid-to-senior level B2B selling experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, self-starting approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• TCIA or Certified Arborist certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of mid-to-senior level B2B selling experience.
• Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate Tree Care Services in regional territories.
• Prospect using consultative sales techniques to build relationships.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, marketing on bids and programs.
• Lead heavy phone prospecting, presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Network to increase new tree care accounts in assigned vertical or target accounts.
• Meet sales goals and work independently.
• Log activity in Salesforce.
• Work with internal resources to drive larger opportunities.
• Build trust-based relationships with key decision makers.
• Plan daily activity benchmarks and close business.
