Job summary

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-centered technician to join our Chapel Hill center and provide TMS and esketamine therapies in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This full-time role offers specialized training, ongoing certification, and opportunities to grow with a dedicated care team.

You will travel regionally to other centers as needed, maintain device readiness, collect consent, monitor patients, document in the EHR, and support insurance and billing workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus stable, consistent work in fast-paced patient or customer care/service roles.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent clinical certification with at least one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver TMS or esketamine treatment per provider protocols.
• Collect Spravato Informed Consent forms and administer PHQ-9 and QIDS-SR16.
• Resolve patient discomfort during treatment using manufacturer guidance and provider orders.
• Build trust with patients through empathy and reflective listening.
• Document sessions in the EHR and escalate concerns to management or providers.
• Schedule visits, handle checkout and co-pays, support insurance and billing workflows.
• Keep equipment, medications, and supplies stocked and dispose of used devices properly.
• Deliver monthly device variance reports to management.
• Answer phones, follow up with patients, and manage medical records and charting.
• Maintain training and certifications, and follow all compliance requirements (OSHA, HIPAA, FRA/WAWD).
• Take on other related duties as assigned.
