Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a System Support Sous Chef to lead culinary operations across New York and Connecticut. The role travels between accounts to provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and execution of culinary programs, elevating food quality and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings a strong restaurant/chef-driven background and a passion for developing teams, while supporting multiple locations and driving continuous improvement in healthcare dining

Qualifications

• Progressive culinary leadership experience in restaurant or healthcare dining environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop culinary teams.
• Strong operational aptitude and problem-solving across multiple locations.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice, hospitality, or healthcare dining.
• Passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or regional operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned healthcare accounts to provide culinary leadership and operational support.
• Partner with Executive Chefs to enhance culinary execution, food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop culinary team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Support staffing needs, operational challenges, and high-volume service periods across multiple locations.
• Assist with menu development, recipe execution, catering, special events, and culinary innovation.
• Champion the implementation of Made for More and other company culinary initiatives.
