Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to oversee occupational safety at assigned profit centers, ensuring policy adherence and effective communication to the Safety Director.

The role involves leading audits, training coordinators, and driving regional SH&E strategy across multiple branches, with travel as required and a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with 5+ years in SH&E management.
• Experience implementing safety programs and system-wide compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to train branches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies and programs across Sunbelt Rentals branches.
• Lead inspections, audits and corrective actions within regions.
• Provide training and guidance to Branch Safety Coordinators.
• Develop annual regional SH&E business plan with target outcomes.
• Lead Safety Coordinator meetings and boot camps.
• Monitor data and trends to ensure performance against leading indicators.
• Support incident investigations and reporting with claims teams.
