Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee safety management across our branches within the region. You’ll implement safety programs, ensure compliance, and communicate issues to the Safety Director.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in OSH or related field with 5+ years in safety management; preferred OHST/CHST/SMS/GSP. Travel is required as you partner with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with 5+ years in safety management.
• Preferred certifications: OHST, CHST, SMS or GSP.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to groups.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies and programs at assigned branches and ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve safety performance.
• Provide training guidance to Safety Coordinators to maintain consistency.
• Track safety metrics regionally and support the SH&E business plan.
