Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to oversee occupational safety at assigned profit centers and ensure policy adherence, reporting safety issues to the Safety Director.

You will lead inspections, train Safety Coordinators, track regional performance, and develop annual SH&E plans with senior leaders. Travel overnight is required, with regular regional collaboration and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with 5+ years of SH&E program experience
• Strong written and verbal communication; classroom or conference call presentation ability
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic SH&E plan with measurable goals
• Travel readiness with overnight trips and multi-location coordination

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance
• Oversee integrity of Sunbelt Rentals safety protocols at branches
• Conduct safety inspections and audits using defined criteria
• Train Safety Coordinators to ensure policy consistency
• Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions with Branch leadership
• Support incident investigations and safety reporting requirements
• Lead regional safety initiatives and annual SH&E plan development
• Run Safety Coordinator calls and annual Boot Camp in the region
