Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to oversee safety programs across multiple profit centers. You will implement policies, train Safety Coordinators, and manage regional SH&E performance against objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s in OSH or related field, 5+ years of safety experience, and ability to travel up to 75% for site audits and coordination. A strong communicator with Excel and Office skills will excel in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Safety, Health and Environmental Management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction and general industry regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols across branches within the region.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits per audit criteria.
• Provide training to Safety Coordinators and ensure consistency.
• Develop regional SH&E strategic plan and targets.
• Lead Safety Coordinator Boot Camp and regional meetings.
• Investigate incidents and support claims process.
