Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to lead safety programs across our branches in the region. You will implement and enforce SH&E policies, train Safety Coordinators, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Responsibilities include audits, reporting, and developing an annual safety plan in collaboration with regional leaders. Travel up to 75% is required during onboarding, with ongoing mobility as the role evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Preferred safety certifications: OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop strategic SH&E plans with measurable goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% during initial phase.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols across branches within the region.
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and audits.
• Provide training to Safety Coordinators and ensure consistency.
• Monitor regional performance and lead Safety Coordinator calls.
• Support incident investigations and near-miss reporting.
