Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in the United States seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 to oversee occupational safety at profit centers, ensure policy adherence, and communicate safety issues to the Safety Director.

You will lead audits, train Safety Coordinators, track regional performance, develop annual SH&E plans, and guide branches through corrective actions. Requires a BS in OSH, 5+ years, OHST/CHST/SMS/GSP preferred, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred Safety Certification - OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present information in classroom or conference call settings.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan with measurable goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols across branches within the region.
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and audits.
• Provide training and guidance to Safety Coordinators.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop and track regional SH&E plans and performance.
