Job summary

Digital Monitoring Products is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support the North American sales channel in intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance. You will design, present, and tailor security solutions for dealers, integrators, and enterprise end-users, traveling to customer sites as needed.

You will translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, train channel partners, and collaborate with product teams to refine offerings while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical support within physical security.
• Hands-on intrusion detection systems experience including panels, keypads, sensors, and central station workflows.
• Familiarity with access control platforms and video systems (VMS/IP cameras/NVRs).
• Strong networking fundamentals and cybersecurity practices as applied to security devices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for North American sales and dealer/integrator networks.
• Design and scope integrated security systems focusing on intrusion panels, access control, and video components.
• Respond to technical inquiries, RFPs, and PoCs; deliver demonstrations to dealers, integrators and end-users.
• Conduct site assessments and produce system design documentation including layouts and schedules.
• Travel to support dealers and integrators, delivering training and commissioning assistance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and support to relay field feedback and influence roadmap.
