Cogent Communications is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a direct sales team of 7–10 Regional, National and Global Account Managers and to develop and execute a Sales Strategy to meet quota. This in-office role reports to the Director of Sales and involves direct customer contact across multiple market segments.

You will hire, train, and mentor AMs in selling DIA, Ethernet Point-to-Point, Colocation and IP Transit to SMB, Corporate and Enterprise customers regionally and globally.

Formación

• Proven track record selling Cogent products; experience finding new business.
• Strong team leadership, coaching and management experience.
• College degree preferred.
• CRM proficiency and PC applications such as Word and Excel are required.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, train, and develop a diverse AM team selling DIA, Ethernet Point-to-Point, Colocation and IP Transit.
• Drive and exceed sales revenue and productivity objectives.
• Manage pipeline for each sales rep.
• Work on time management to meet goals/metrics.
