Cogent Communications is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a direct sales team of 7 to 10 Account Managers and to develop a strategy to exceed team quotas. The role involves extensive direct customer contact and requires managing regional, national and global accounts.

The position focuses on selling DIA, Ethernet Point-to-Point, Colocation and IP Transit to SMB, Corporate and Enterprise segments, with travel as needed and a strong emphasis on coaching and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling Cogent’s product set.
• Experience finding new business.
• Strong team leadership and coaching experience.
• Travel will be required.

Responsabilités

• Hire, train and develop a diverse team of Account Managers.
• Drive and exceed sales revenue and productivity objectives.
• Manage and utilize pipeline management for each sales rep.
• Collaborate to meet quotas and business needs across regions.
