Cogent Communications is a global Tier 1 ISP offering high-speed Internet and Ethernet transport services. The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of 7 to 10 account managers, develop a sales strategy, and drive revenue across regional, national, and global markets.

The role focuses on direct customer contact, recruitment and coaching, and meeting quotas while working in an in-office environment. Cogent provides competitive compensation, stock options, 401k, and bonuses.

• It’s not about the number of years of experience you have; it’s about what you’ve accomplished in those years of experience.
• Candidates must have: a proven track record of success selling Cogent’s product set, experience finding new business, strong team leadership, coaching and management experience.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and PC based applications such as Word and Excel a must.
• Some travel will be required.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for leading a direct sales team of 7 to 10 Regional, National and Global Account Managers.
• Develop and execute a Sales Strategy to meet and exceed the assigned team quota.
• Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this role.
• The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales.
