Job summary

Fire-Dex, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow profitability across new and existing accounts. The role is home-office based with extensive travel across the territory, including 110–130 travel days annually and 90–100 overnights.

You will manage regional accounts, present to fire departments and distributors, and train distributor staff. Ideal candidates have regional sales leadership experience, strong CRM/ERP skills (Salesforce), and a background in the fire or public safety

Qualifications

• Must have regional sales management experience.
• Fire industry experience strongly preferred.
• Must live in the territory; home-office based; relocation not included.
• Willingness to travel 110–130 days per year; 90–100 overnights.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and manage accounts within the territory.
• Develop and present sales presentations and demonstrations to regional fire departments and distributors.
• Serve as business advisor and distributor executive management.
• Conduct classroom and in-field distributor training.
• Coordinate and support sales activities with dealers.
• Occasionally host dealer or customer visits to Medina, OH.
• Gather, record and update competitive data and sales strategies.
• Travel 110–130 days per year, with 90–100 overnights.
• Manage sales territory and multi-step distribution with end-user selling.
• Utilize CRM (Salesforce) and ERP; leverage MS Office tools.
