Fire-Dex is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth and profitability of new and existing accounts. The position is based in the candidate's home office with travel across the territory to events and headquarter visits.

The role focuses on building relationships with regional fire departments and distributors, delivering presentations, training, and coordinating activities, while leveraging CRM/ERP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales territory management required.
• Experience in multi-step distribution and end-user selling.
• Strong preference for fire industry/public safety/government sales experience.
• Account management experience required.
• Ability to work from a home office and reside in the territory.
• Strong problem-solving and data-management with CRM/ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Self-motivated with high energy and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present sales presentations and demonstrations to regional fire departments and distributors.
• Serve as business advisor and distributor executive management.
• Conduct classroom and in-field training of distributor sales representatives.
• Coordinate and support sales activities with dealers.
• Occasionally host dealer/customer visits to the corporate office and factory (Medina OH).
• Gather, record, and update competitive data and sales strategies.
• Travel: 110-130 days per year, with 90-100 overnights.
