Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking an Area Manager to lead a field team across a large territory. The role focuses on customer relationships, sales execution, supplier program alignment, and strategic team development.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, 3+ years of management, and a strong background in beverage alcohol distribution. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Strong sales and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of sales consultants; evaluate performance against developmental goals.
• Develop territory sales plans to meet goals and address customer segments.
• Establish regular team meetings to communicate territory plans and priorities.
• Coach consultants on sales pre-plans, including visits, opportunities, and plans.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline in Proof Sales; enhance product knowledge and teamwork.
• Assess talent, hire, and discipline staff as needed; manage expenditures within budget.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
