Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined Region.

This front-line sales leadership role drives budgets, coaching, and compliant execution. As region leader you will develop regional sales strategies, mentor reps, collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, and Medical teams, and ensure achievement of performance targets while maintaining a high standard of ethics

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree required.
• 4+ years in pharmaceutical sales management with first-line leadership experience.
• Track record of top-tier pharmaceutical performance and territory results.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales budgets and regional targets.
• Coach and develop Sales Professionals with candid feedback.
• Analyze regional product trends and align regional strategies.
• Lead national initiatives aligned to SMPA's vision.
• Build relationships with providers and key thought leaders.
• Manage regional operations and ensure compliant execution.
