Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers in a defined region. You will drive regional sales strategies, coach reps, manage budgets, and ensure compliant execution while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

The role requires a proven leadership record, strong coaching skills, and a history of high performance in pharmaceutical sales, with extensive travel and a focus on specialty

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.
• Top performing sales track record preferred (top 25% nationally).

Responsibilities

• Lead a field sales team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined Region.
• Achieve/exceed regional budgets and sales objectives.
• Coach and develop sales professionals, provide candid feedback.
• Develop regional sales strategies aligned to brand growth.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Operations and HR.
• Travel 60–80% as required by the territory.
