Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking a Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of Territory Sales Managers across a defined Region. You will drive budget attainment, coach professionals, and ensure compliant, effective execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 60–80% travel, a BA/BS degree, and a proven pharma sales leadership track record, preferably with Urology experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales management preferred.
• Proven, consistent track record of top pharmaceutical performance (top 25% of the nation) required.
• 3+ years of Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sales budgets and regional objectives are achieved across territory and region.
• Provide regular coaching of Sales Professionals focused on effectiveness and development.
• Assess regional product/competitor trends and develop regional sales strategies.
• Lead national projects aligning with SMPA’s vision of being a leading specialty urology company.
• Build and maintain relationships with providers and key thought leaders.
