Job summary

Cogent Communications is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a direct sales team and drive revenue across regional, national and global accounts. The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, strategic sales execution, and a strong emphasis on meeting quotas and managing a robust sales pipeline.

The position requires proven sales leadership, the ability to recruit and mentor AMs, and willingness to travel as needed. Office-based in the Sterling area with dynamic growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop a diverse team of Account Managers selling DIA, Ethernet, Colocation, and IP Transit.
• Drive and exceed sales revenue and productivity objectives.
• Manage and utilize pipeline management for each sales rep.
• Focus on time management to meet goals and metrics for AMs.
