Job summary

Westlake Flooring Services in the Great Lakes region seeks a Regional Manager to lead a 10-25 person sales team, grow market share and dealer loyalty across the Midwest. You’ll coach area managers, recruit and train staff, and present products to clients.

Travel up to 75% is required. The role demands proven sales leadership, fluency in MS Office tools, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Competitive compensation awaits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales management
• High energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
• Qualified Candidates should live in Region
• Computer skills are a must. MS Office (Excel and word).

Responsibilities

• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers
• Managing outside sales within the region; assist with hiring/training new area managers
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and number of contacts
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned
• Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Manage Area Managers through quality checks and follow-up
• Identify and resolve client concerns
• Prepare status reports (activity, closings, follow-up, goals)
• Communicate new product/service opportunities to staff
• Develop and implement sales activities to reduce dealer attrition
• Participate in marketing events like seminars/trade shows/telemarketing
• Travel required throughout territory; up to 75%
• Other duties as assigned
