Job summary

Westlake Flooring Services is seeking a Regional Manager for Automotive Floorplan Services in Northern California. The role leads Area Managers, drives sales, and builds dealer relationships across a large territory with up to 75% travel.

You should have a minimum of 5 years in sales management, strong communication, and solid MS Office skills. Bachelor's degree required; region-based residency preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales management
• High energy with excellent verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
• Qualified Candidates should live in Region
• Computer skills are a must. MS Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers
• Responsible for managing persons in outside sales within the assigned region; assist with hiring and training new area managers
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and project contacts
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts as assigned
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Establish and maintain client relationships and manage Area Managers through quality checks
• Identify and resolve client concerns
• Prepare status reports including activity, closings, follow-up and goals
• Communicate new product and service opportunities to staff
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce dealer attrition
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing
• Travel required throughout the territory (up to 75%)
• Other duties as assigned
