Job summary

Westlake Financial Services in the Great Lakes Region seeks a Regional Manager – Automotive Floorplan Services to lead and develop a sales team of 10–25 reps, grow market share, volume and dealer loyalty across the territory.

You’ll coach Area Managers, recruit and train staff, present and sell products, build client relationships, manage reports, and participate in marketing events. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years sales management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications.
• Qualified candidates should live in region.
• Computer skills are a must. MS Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers.
• Manage outside sales personnel within the region and assist with hiring/training.
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and project contacts.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts as assigned.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain current client relationships.
• Manage Area Managers through quality checks and follow-up.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare status reports (activity, closings, follow-ups, goals).
• Communicate new product opportunities and feedback to staff.
• Develop and implement sales activities to reduce dealer attrition.
• Participate in marketing events and telemarketing.
• Travel required; up to 75% of the time.
