Job summary

Baxter in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Advanced Surgery portfolio across Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati OH, Asheville NC, and nearby regions. You will guide a team of SAMs, TBMs and ARs, develop regional plans, and coordinate with cross-functional leaders to drive growth.

The role requires 5+ years of medical device sales leadership, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel 50%+. Relocation within the territory may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of sales management experience within medical device/healthcare space.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen including knowledge of sales processes and market dynamics.
• Individual must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with posted territory is strongly desired.
• At least 50% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. Position will have an assigned geographic territory which may span several states.

Responsibilities

• Leading a dynamic team of SAMs, TBMs, and ARs in the assigned sales region to achieve and exceed target budget.
• Developing integrated regional business plan including targeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Assisting TBMs and SAMs in the business planning process for their territories. Aligning on goals, objectives, strategy, and execution for accounts.
• Understanding business at the regional level and providing quarterly sales operating reviews to sales leadership.
• Holding weekly 4DX calls with region to share weekly priorities and hold the team accountable.
• Spending field time with team to strategize, coach, train, and develop employees.
