Job summary

Biosite, an ASSA ABLOY company, is expanding its field-based sales team and seeking an Area Sales Manager to own and grow key territories across North America. You will develop strategic plans, close complex solutions, and manage the full customer lifecycle from prospecting to renewal.

The role emphasizes executive relationship building, pipeline development, and collaboration with the Customer Excellence team to deliver long-term customer success. Approximately 50% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quota-carrying B2B field sales experience.
• Experience selling to the construction industry or related markets.
• Proven success in developing new business and managing customer relationships within a defined territory.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities across large commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities and account expansion initiatives.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and customer relationships.
• Identify and engage key stakeholders across project teams and executive organizations.
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Lead complex opportunities from discovery through proposal development and closing.
