Job summary
Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a field-based commercial sales team focused on launching a rare disease product. You will recruit, mentor, and develop the team while executing regional business plans and building strategic relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
The role requires extensive life sciences experience, hospital system navigation, and a track record in launching specialty therapies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of success in Life Sciences.
- 4+ years of first-line sales leadership experience with hospital/IDN navigation.
- Experience launching rare disease or specialty biopharmaceutical products.
- Strong oncology/specialty therapeutics background with payer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, train, coach, and retain a high-performing regional sales team.
- Develop and implement regional business plans to support launch strategy.
- Build relationships with KOLs and hospital stakeholders.
- Develop clinical and economic presentations for customers.
- Analyze regional performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Foster accountability and succession planning within the team.
- Lead cross-functional launch readiness with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing.
- Align with payer and access teams for reimbursement strategies.
