Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing field-based commercial sales team and drive outcomes for a rare disease product launch. You will recruit, mentor and develop a team while executing regional business plans and engaging healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.

The role requires deep hospital/IDN experience, a track record in oncology or specialty therapeutics, and the ability to influence formulary and access decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Life Sciences with a proven sales track record.
• 4+ years of first-line sales leadership experience with hospital/IDN navigation.
• Launch leader experience in rare disease, oncology or specialty biopharma.
• Strong background in oncology and/or specialty therapeutics and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of P&T processes, formulary decisions and institutional access.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, train, coach, assess, motivate and retain a high-performing regional sales team.
• Develop and implement regional business plans and launch strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with key influencers, including executives within accounts.
• Present clinical, pharmaco-economic and business value propositions to customers.
• Review regional performance and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
• Build a culture of accountability, coaching and talent development.
