Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Team Leader to guide a regional team across Texas and Louisiana, driving financial performance, scheduling, forecasting, and governance across projects from initiation to closeout.

You will partner with project managers, technical leads, and leadership to deliver client-focused outcomes, develop best practices, and grow regional capabilities in a fast-paced, hybrid leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental science or similar.
• 7+ years in financial controls, finance/accounting, scheduling, forecasting on capital projects.
• 3–5 years leading multidisciplinary project controls professionals.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls Team across TX and LA portfolio.
• Oversee project financials, scheduling, invoicing, and cash collection.
• Develop and promote project controls best practices and performance standards.
• Mentor and develop regional Project Controls staff.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
• Create analytics tools and dashboards for insights and decision-making.
• Ensure procurement and vendor management alignment with contracts.
