Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Team Leader to join the Earth & Environment TXLA Regional Team in a hybrid leadership role. You will guide project controls, drive financial performance, scheduling, forecasting, and governance across a portfolio of environmental and civil projects in Texas and Louisiana.

You will partner with Project Managers and regional leaders to improve project performance, deliver client value, and promote best practices while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, environmental science or similar with relevant background.
• 7+ years of experience in financial controls, finance/accounting, scheduling and forecasting on capital projects.
• 3-5 years leading and developing multidisciplinary project controls teams.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Project Controls Team across TX and LA projects, overseeing financial performance, scheduling, invoicing, and cash collection.
• Provide mentorship and development for team members and establish best practices across the region.
• Monitor project financials, schedules, resource utilization, forecasting, and KPIs; support planning and governance.
